Where would I locate correct 41 Ford engine green paint? Same with the correct shade of black for the oil pan and accessories? Many years ago I got the green from Specialized auto parts in Texas. I can't find them now. I've tried others and they're out of stock.

Try Bill Hirsch Auto for the correct engine paints. His website is available under the vendor links on this site.

I'm not certain if Mike Driskell sells Roy Nacewicz'z paint or not. Roy's paint was the closest to the authentic shade I'd ever witnessed. Hirsch paint, while good quality, is not correct.

The black pieces on your engine were all gloss.

they have no spray cans. I provided my rebuilder with a quart of enamel. I hope it can be used in a spray gun as he said it was the only way he would apply it.

I just cleaned the block with prep and grabbed a brush and brushed it on from the can. Yes it is time consuming, but gets the job done.
And, I didn't have to mask places that should not be painted.
