A friend has recently bought a 1948 ford 4dr and is not sure what to with it, I so happen to own a 1948 2dr. wondering what parts on that car would fit my car? I'm sure front clip and trunk would work, but doors would not,is the frame different?

The frame is the same. Doors and seats are different. "48 was a transitional year for shock absorbers, so either Houdaille or tube shocks may be on either car. Alan

In addition to Alan's advice here's other items that will work for you: The dash and gauges, Interior lights, front floor pan (may be aluminum rather than steel), possibly the rear seat cushions, and if the glass is good you can use the rear window and windshield. If you need them the rear fenders will also be the same.
