On my 46, 6 volt positive ground - woven ground metal cable from batt to frame is looking a little ratty, so following suggestions on this forum I went to purchase a regular cable. NAPA catalog gives the part number for the battery cable for a 1946 Ford Super Deluxe, but when I picked it up I saw that it is 2 gauge. Counter worker says the 2 gauge cable is fine for 12 or 6 volt. Yea or Nay??? I recall threads on this forum re importance of correct 6 volt cable size.
