Many of us utilize the disconnect device which employs a plastic knob on top to loosen for disconnect. (Usually a green knob but some are black) I have found that occasionally the knob post will become corroded and prevent good contact. Simply scr*pping the corrosion is a fix but cleaning and applying a little dielectric grease is longer term. greg childs Wrench Ranch Montana

mine was brand new and they are junk from the get go if you want a disconnect switch that works you will need a MASTER FLIP SWITCH, around $30.00 but hard to mount on a 37, I have one on my MODEL A for 40 plus years with no problems,. mounted to the floor between the front sets, my 2 cents 37Ragtopman but if you have one good luck and if you have any problems you will know were to look first .
