looking for a source that actually has original style smooth headlight bulbs, that is without the adusting tips as part of the bulb.

Drake used to sell them. They have two types, 6 and 12 volts. 01A-13007 FS 6, and FS 12, respectively. 800/221-3673. Be sure to ask if they are in stock, as Drake has a reputation for lengthy back orders. It is also possible to remove the tabs. Most glass shops can grind the tabs away, as well.

I ground the tabs off of mine with a DeWalt 4" grinder. Real easy. Shiny side up! Cecil/WV

BE CAREFULL with NOS or old bulbs, might look fine but once you put the juice to them, if the gas has escaped they will burn OUT in SECONDS, so be careful,buy the NEW modern and grind off the bumps, KEEP ON TRUCKIN 37 RAGTOPMAN This message was edited by 37RAGTOPMAN on 7-19-10 @ 6:34 AM
