A quick Google search comes up with this: https://everestautomotivemarket.com/custom-mixed-paint/ford/ford-washington-blue/?variation_id=957943 Don't know anything about the company but the cost for one 12oz can seems pricey. A local to you auto paint supply house should be able to mix a batch and place it in spray cans. Codes for Washington Blue are on the web and forums as well if the paint supply house doesn't have the code. ______________ No signature

Chucky, The main issue of buying a "matched color" off the shelf, is there's a99% chance, it won't match. You are, in my opinion, far better served to have a local paint store match a part on your car. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

I am with my friend Kube. The original paint formulas were likely for lacquer. Today's two part paints are far removed from those days. The best way to match with today's paint is to find a really good body shop that uses a device that scans the paint on the vehicle using a place that has had limited exposure to wear and the elements, such as the inside of the glove box door, or the inside edge off a door. My PPG file shows Washington Blue as used for two years, 1937 and 1938. The formula is given as DMA 311=10.0.317=140.346=411.6. 375=431.7 This was for "PPG Antique Automotive Acrylic Lacquer"

I recently had a couple of rattle can spray paint made by one of our local automotive paint stores for a project I am working on. The car was repainted the original light blue in '94, it buffed out very nicely with 3M supe duty rubbing compound. I was able to remove a piece of body metal from around the grille, the paint store made me two cans of paint that was a perfect match. Bill 36 5 win delx cpe
