Topic: Color-ite in business???

Color-ite continues to advertise in the V8 Times. Yet, no one has ever answered the phone nor bothered to return a call from the numerous messages I have left.
Are they still in business?
If so, might I expect this type of service (NON service) if I decide to order paint from them?

I don't know about Colorite, but Tower Paint is another source that has a good record. www.towerpaint.com

Mike, I tried to order some paint from them a couple of years ago and did not get an answer. Their web site says that they no longer supply paint and just do restorations.

This is news to me. I'll have to double-check their ad in the TIMES for their paint service. I'd suggest Bill Hirsch for paint and Auto Color Library (Both advertise in the TIMES.) ACL actually manufactures their own paint for the auto industry and thanks to a V-8er, has a large library of old car colors. Since they manufacure paint, they can provide quality paint at more reasonable prices. When you call, ask for Jimmy "Chips" Wells. HE's a V-8er that works there part time and can help. Good luck.
