I'm working on the heater for my 39 convertible coupe. There are 4 wires; on red and the other 3 are yellow possibly with very faint markings. They are in bad shape and the front part of the switch is missing. Can someone please post a picture of what I am looking for and where it goes on the dash? Also, I'm afraid to try out the motor until I know which wire does what. Any guidance?

The 1939 heater switch mounts in a hole on the bottom flange of the instrument panel. I believe the hole is to the left of the steering wheel. To read them, just click on the links. The 1939 switch is difficult to find, but the later switches will work for a driver. Tom

TomO is correct once again. Here's a photo of the correct switch mounted in the correct place. Mike "Kube" Kubarth

Thanks for the photo. I got that knob from a seller on e-Bay. Very much appreciated!
