All of my tin, with the exception of the body, has finally been painted on my 35 Convertible Sedan. Once the body is done I'll be ready to start permanently installing all of the newly painted pieces and I need info about the front fender welt. Namely, once the welt starts at the bottom of the grille , where does it end on its way toward the running boards? Does anyone have a detailed picture of this? I've looked at this area on my 36 Humpback Sedan. However, because the 35 and 36 grilles are entirely different this subject appears to be handled much differently. Thanks, Peter

Peter, here are 2 sketches I made when taking my 35 conv. sedan apart. My notes indicate that the fender welting/bead went all the way from the front of the fender to the back end of the running board. This message was edited by Don Rogers on 2-23-22 @ 7:11 AM

Was fender welting used between the grill and inner fender, I have the grill out for a engine replacement and there was no welting when the grill was removed but I know the grill was remove by a previous owner. The welting is between the fender and the inner panel. Thanks for any input.
