I know this is a very elementary and basic question, and I've tried searching pass posts to find the answer, but was not able too. I am trying to rebuild my vacuum wiper motor on my 36 Ford Fordor and I'm not sure how to remove the wiper arms. I'm afraid to force something and break it. Are they just pressed on or is there a trick to it. Thank you.

Push Hard and lift up. There is a small horse shoe like clip at the top.

I think it works better if the sequence is push up and then lift out at the top of the upside down teardrop-shaped shaft cover.
