  The early 35 used the carry over 34 adjuster handle which when mounted the end of the handle points to the passenger. Your photo from the hardware book is of the slightly later model which was changed to point to the driver. The two release rods can be made at home.   Per 40 Coupes comments the early 35 seat adjuster (48-736840/48-736840-A) pointed to the passenger side while the later adjuster (48-736840-B) pointed to the driver's side. The early 35 adjuster while similar to the 34 (40-705132) was not identical. The 34 adjuster was not used in 1935 vehicles.
