Can one of our expects out there tell me if a 1936 coupe drivers door will also fit a drivers door for a 2 door sedan ? Thanks Tom

I have heard that a 36 sedan front door can be used on a 36 coupe 5 window with just a slight trimming of the upper edge. I heard this from an old retired body man. I believe the door on a 2 door is wider. Frank

The sedan door is wider than the coupe. A fordor front door "might" be closer.

When referring to a '36 sedan there is a need to specify tudor sedan or fordor sedan. So, a front door from a '35 or '36 fordor sedan will work on a '35 or '36 5 window coupe with some contour work necessary at the top of the door. The doors from a '35 or '36 Tudor sedan will not work on a '35 or '36 5w coupe. John

John is correct, I should have stated a 4 door sedan front door. Frank
