I am in need of a good rear axle for a '36 Ford fordor sedan. Also the hub puller if available as well. Shop fouled min up trying to remove it along with the good original puller I had. Ugh.

The axles are 3.38 gears stock.

Not 3.38 I met 3.78 gears. '36 Ford all stock with 37 Motor.

As far as the hub puller goes, this is the one I have:
http://www.vintageprecision.com/products/hub_pullers/index.html

Vintage Precision offers an enhanced reproduction of the original K.R. Wilson ABV-156 rear hub puller.

I don't think it matters. They are all alike up to '40 is my belief. This is a stock rear axle and the splines are the same for all rear ends. The ring and pinon are 3:78.

The 32-34 axle is 32.18" long with 18 teeth, the 35-38 axle is 32.86" long with 18 teeth and the 38-41 axle is 32.86" with 16 teeth. It is possible to have any of these rear ends in your car, so you should disassemble the differential and determine which axle that you need.

Do you know where I might find a '36 right side axle shaft stock?

TomO    -- 07-06-2021 @ 7:25 AM
Kube said that he has some good axles, but needs to know which axle you need.
