I have a 41 pickup with the original 6 cylinder flathead It has developed a coolant leak below the fuel pump on the engine block Very difficult to get to and probably has rusted through the block Any suggestions how to repair coolant leaks in the engine block The engine runs fine and I do not see any coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant

If the leak is from a small crack or gap, some Bar's Stop Leak can be used as a temporary fix.

if you can clean the block, you can clean it and use JB WELD, wait a few days before putting only water in it, temporary and add bars leak, it may have froze at on time, and is cracked,? this can be repaired by a GOOD auto repair shop, cold weld stick plugs, hope this helps 37Ragtopman

To add to 37Ragtopman's comment, please note that JB Weld comes in several varieties. You will want to use the original JB Weld with the 24 hour curing time on anything that is under high stress. This message was edited by RAK402 on 6-30-21 @ 11:05 AM

Thanks all for the suggestions Solved the problem. Was not coolant leaking, it was gasoline leaking from the side of the fuel pump. Had to start the engine and use a mirror and drop light to see where the "Fast"drips were origination from. Good thing I caught it before the truck could have caught fire and burned up. Fuel pump no problem. Leaky engine block big problem 80 years old this year. Those old Fords just keep on running.
