Where are you all buying your master cylinders for your ‘39’s? Dennis Carpenter’s turned out bad! Thanks for advice. Don

Have you contacted Carpenter's! Most vendors want to know if they have a problem so it does not spread. Paul R

Bought a USA made Wagner for my '39 p/u from Joe's Antique Auto. Replaced an off shore one that the PO installed that failed shortly after I bought the truck. ______________ No signature

NAPA. They are NEW and perfect. Even came with the concourse correct casting and filler cap! About $55 Dealer discounted). Part #NMC M1050 You'll need to talk with a guy that can actually look stuff up -not some kid. Ask for 1948 Ford (same thing as your 39). Mike "Kube" Kubarth

I also bought a new one from NAPA, a little more than $55 by about $30, but it was exact. Made in Taiwan. My brakes were at a brake shop and he said he wanted "me" to get the master in case it was wrong, it wouldn't be his fault. He popped it in and everything is good. Pat’s 40 Ragtop

Pech, I get the best discount NAPA gives. That probably explains the difference in prices. They have, if I recall correctly, five different pricing levels. Mike "Kube" Kubarth
