Attached are two photos of 1946 to 1948 Ford plastic horn buttons and metal retainer rings. Does anyone know if the retainer rings used on Ford passenger cars to hold the horn buttons in place are the same part that was used on Mercury horn rings in 1946, 1947 and 1948? And also, maybe, 1942? First photo ........

Grant: Yes the horn button retainer ring is the same for a 42-48 Ford and Mercury. Bill Large
