Hi, I am wanting to purchase the bending tool to use when fitting the Aluminum strip on the roof of my Ford Fordor. I cam across the name Mark Mitcha CA however I haven't been able to find any further information for Mark. Can anyone help with providing Mark's information. I am located in Queensland, Australia .

I am assuming that the aluminum strip is the one that surrounds the top insert and holds the edges of the material that form the actual top. At our shop we have installed such tops a couple of times, but no special tool was used. We made a wooden jig that was cut to exactly fit the corners of the opening and secured it to the bench. The aluminum strip was then carefully measured and marked and the strip was wrapped around the jig while supporting the sides. Most of these strips require crimping to help hold the material in place, but do so with great care, using a wood block and appropriate hammer, as a helper assists. We used a sealer around the installed job to be sure it was weather tight.
