I have a 1948 Ford 2dr with the 239 stock, it has a holly 94 model 59. When the engine is not running and I work the throttle, should their not be fuel squirting out of the spray tubes in carb. Replaced power valve today, doesn't like to start with choke???. Johna

If there is fuel in the float bowl, fuel should be discharged from the accelerator pump nozzle jets when the throttle is moved from closed to open position.
