Macs 12 volt LED Flasher does not work even though it is still in their catalog. Problem is when in auxiliary power it works fine but when car is running it goes into a high speed flash. My directional is mechanical and all LED lights. Macs agrees there is not enough resistance in their part. If you had this experience and found a flasher that works please let me know.

Apparently what I need is a No Load flasher can. But haven't found one yet.

I have LEDs all the way around. I use a NOVITA EP 34 flasher. It does not need a Load, but is electrically cycled. This message was edited by Steve Kennedy on 5-13-21 @ 9:30 PM

Any turn signal flasher that uses a relay to make the light blink will work. I just installed one in my '36 with leds on tail lights with no issues. Mine is original 6v. I think I bought the flasher from LEDLight.com. Also connects to my brakelighter.

I would also add that a surprising plus, the flasher I bought also makes a nice click sound when on... so no more leaving the signals on after turning. Or at least no more excuses for doing so.

Thanks member TomO for suggesting I could open the flasher and adjust the the tension on the contacts. My flasher had a plastic cap which I popped off and was able to adjust the tension on the spring which slowed down the flashing to a little faster than normal.

I used the flasher unit for my LEDs made by United Pacific. I believe they make them in both 12 volt and 6 volt.
