Looking for any help or tips on removing door hinge pins on a 1940 Ford coupe. I have a Bob Drake hinge pin Removal tool but it won't even budge the hinge pins. Thanks for any help.

Are the doors loose to the hinges?? Try soaking them with Kroil/PB Blaster or a mixture of ATF and(sh*t) can't think of it. Someone else will chime in.
Worst option is to grind off the heads and drill them out, IMO.

I would not use the mixture of ATF and Acetone anywhere near a finished surface. Do a search on hinge pin, making sure that you click on ALL in the "in the past" box.

Just replaced mine. Center punch the head. Step drill until reaching diameter of pin and drive it out the bottom. Protect the paint.

If you own, or have access to an air tool, use the pointed attachment to shake the pin loose. As noted above, take the load off the door by supporting the outboard edge. Careful use of a jack is what we use. Wear of the hinge pin will create a lock of the pin in the hinge. Drilling the pin out can damage the hinge so the new pin will not fit, allowing the door to sag. If you do use a drill, carefully center punch the pin and use several drill bits of increasing size until the pin is hollow enough to drive out. Be patient, and the pin will eventually come loose. Be sure to protect the door from damage of working close. The time spent is much better than having to replace the hinge, an expensive proposition, even if you can find one
