Hi Guys; Should the rods be perfecly strait and should they be very tight or just snugged up enough to get the cotter pin in. They are on a 40. Thanks Bob

Snug them up tight, but not so tight that the motor mounts are deformed. Anti chatter rods were abandoned early in the use because they didn't produce the desired results.
