Why can’t I find a picture of the covers in the 38/39 book? Lots of other stuff, but not this.
I’m gonna cut my own, so help me.
Thanks to all.

If you look on pages 3-43, 3-45 & 3-47 of the 1938-39 Ford Book, you will find tool covers which are similar to the ones for your '39 Deluxe Coupe. The best you can probably do is to cut out two pieces of cardboard as templates that fit properly and trace the shapes of these onto 1/8" thick pieces of plywood.

Follow carcrazy's advice and make your patterns. Use 1/4" plywood

Okay, I'll say it: No disrespect, but if a guy needs advice as to how to make a pair of boards, my bet, is they (boards) are not going to come out very nice or if they do, it's going to take a long time to "get there".
C&G sells boards, $44, part #91a-7746106/7.
And by the way, 1/4" ply is much thinner than the authentic boards. Nominal was .340".

Thanks for your help/replies. I did cut my own out of 1/4 plywood with a jig saw.
Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!
Thanks again.
