You can buy the correct type of spark plugs from Van Pelt, LLC at their website listed under links - friends on the left side of this page. They are 18mm thread spark plugs part number 40-12405M.

Ive been using Champ "D-21 " for going on 30 yrs, work fine in a 36 coupe, same as a 34 engine. 18 mm plug, nice hot plug that burns away all fouling. Availible almost any local parts store. ken ct

In case you are curious, the original battery dimensions were: 7 1/4" x 10 9/16" x 7 1/8" (height) and the original spark plugs were Champion C-7 (early '34s) or Champion 7 (late '34s).

Well the 34 I originally asked about had a seized engine so I sold it. The “new” 34 I purchased has a 59AB engine. What spark plug and gap for it? Thanks! TIM CARLIG

Champion H-10 per my Motors Manual. Autolite 216's will work as well. I believe the recommended gap is .025 but I could be wrong. I'm sure someone else will provide the correct gap if I'm incorrect. ______________ No signature
