I found a photo of a car coming down the assembly line where the body is married to the frame. In that photo, the fenders are already mounted to the frame. Can anyone tell me if the inner splash panels and inner fenders were mounted first then the outer fenders mounted or was the entire front sheet metal a sub assembly and put on as one unit. This sequence will help me from going the wrong direction and scratching the paint. Thanks for the responses in advance.
