Topic: I.D. of clutch assembly?

Attached below are photos of a ten inch pressure plate and clutch disc.

The notation 29A-7550 is stamped on the clutch disc, with 29A-7550-N on the box. There is nothing on the pressure plate assembly.

Information on the internet and Ebay is saying that these parts are for 1941 to 1948 Ford passenger car as well as 1948 to 1952 Ford pickup truck.

Is that identification correct?

Would this clutch set-up also fit 1941 to 1948 Mercury?

Grant, the flywheel for a 10" clutch is different from the 9" clutch flywheel. It can be fitted to the 41 Mercury and then you can use the 10" pressure plate and disc. Your flywheel may already be drilled for the 10" clutch.
