Hi all, Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm fairly new to all this. I have a 48 ford super deluxe. The front headlights have always worked ever since I redid the wiring. The front headlights suddenly stopped working a few days ago. I have all other lights operational. I checked all the connections and they are good. Suggestions? Thanks Dan

The dimmer switch sometimes causes this problem. Exercise it many times while observing your head lights. If it clears up, replace the dimmer switch or disassemble it, clean it with contact cleaner and re-lubricate it with a corrosion inhibiting grease or Vaseline. Tom

That was it! I knew it had to be something stupid simple. Thanks Tom! Dan

You are welcome. Be sure to clean or replace the switch as it will happen again, probably while you are 100 miles from home after dark. Next time it may not cleare up by execising the switch. Tom
