The 35-36 Ford book says the rear window shade is pulled up and hooked to the window garnish. I have no "hook" on my window garnish. I do have a special #8 screw with a slotted head located just above the center of the top of the garnish that must be for some purpose. My window shade has a female snap for a fastener. Can anyone please tell me how the shade is intended to be fastened in the up (closed) position. Thank you all, pfrancis

There is a misprint on page 45 of the 1935-36 Ford Book. It should say that the shade tab should be snapped on a special "anzodot" snap fastener, self tapping screw type located just above the center of the rear window garnish molding. The tab on the curtain should have a female snap which attaches to the "anzodot" stud. Here are some images that might help. Don Rogers

Hello Don--Thank you for clearing that up for me. I did not recognize that the self tapping screw with the square, slotted head was actually a male snap. I have made the correction in my 35-36 Ford book. pfrancis Missoula, MT
