I have a 34 with a 38 distributer. We are having trouble getting a good spark to no 7 plug. All the other plugs are sparking strongly. The issue seems to be at the distributer cap as we have tried different leads and have changed the cap. At times we get a spark which is very intermittent, other times no spark at all. But only on the no 7 terminal Any help would be great. Thanks Paul

Put an Ohmmeter across plug wire should be Zero ohms. check the ohms on the #7 inner distributor cap from rotor side to plug wire side again should be Zero ohms. If Things check out replace the rotor and add a wrap of electrical tape on the shaft before installing the rotor.
