Posted on H.A.M.B. and Ford Barn as well: I’ve always been able to find commercial models of the classics I’ve owned, whether a 1963 Porsche, ‘47 Willys or other. But a ‘38 Ford Woodie ? Fuggedaboudit. Would appreciate hearing from any interested modelers. Thank you.

Well Jaques you're kind of stuck in the middle. AMT makes a 1941 Ford Station Wagon and a '36 Ford Coupe. Revell makes a 1948 Ford Station Wagon and a '36 Ford Coupe. You might find someone that can mix and match all the part's and come up with something that looks like a '38 Woodie. I have read that some talented model makers use something called "resin casting" to make one of a kind model car bodies but don't know the process. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thank you very much; this project may well price itself out of reach - estimates I’ve received for resin, wood, 3D printing, scratch built metal, etc. are all pretty high , but please keep the ideas coming !
