Topic: 12 volt heater blower motor

I am converting my 47 Ford car to 12 volt negative ground. I am having a difficult time finding a 12 volt two speed heater blower motor. I can find them but no one seems to know the dimensions for me to verify it will fit. I have the factory fresh air heater on the car and the original switch has two speeds and off. If anyone has done this conversion, please reply with a source for a motor or a part number to direct me. I am attaching a photo of my blower housing and motor on the firewall. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Provided you can find a competent motor rebuilding shop, you can have your current blower motor rewired to be 12V negative ground.

The heater motor is not a 2 speed motor, the slow speed is accomplised by dropping the voltage to the field coils by connecting a resister into the circuit.

Thanks for the replies. I found a 12 volt replacement. It is a Four Seasons 35576. they sell for about $50.00 on Amazon. dimensions matched perfect on the critical items; shaft diameter. bolt mounting spacing, motor diameter, motor length, two wires and rotation is reversible.
