The chrome tail light bezels on my 46 coupe have a tiny screw on the bottom. Removed this - but no amount of tugging on either side works. Are they held on by spring clips? I don't want to ruin something. Thanks

The bezel has ears that hook over the top of the housing body and swings down into place. Once you remove the small screw at the bottom, you can carefully pry the trim loose at the bottom and swing it up. The lens sits on a cork gasket, and often is stuck. Again, careful prying with a wide blade will lift it off.

I believe the lenses are held in by 3 screws and clips,at least that is how my 48 is.
