Topic: 41 front axle options

I bought a king pin kit for my 41 coupe - had bushings installed and fit by a machine shop (perfect fit.) Started assembly and left side of axle fit as good as the spindle bushing - the right side axle hole is not as good and has a some movement - also I tried the new perch bolts I got and both perch holes are worn . (I only have a cheap caliper and only reads 10th's so I only have rough hole size vs pin / bolt.) Not sure the machine shop is interested in this work (putting bushings in oversize holes) so I need to make a decision about what to do. There are very few choices, that I know of, for machine shops in my area (vicinity of Quakertown, Pa.) I would think most used axles would be similar fit. Most replacement axles I have seen have a 4" drop. Could use any opinions about that option? Appreciate any comments and suggestions for my situation. (I just joined the EFV8 club to maybe establish some contact with some people with similar issues that live somewhere in the area.)
