When removing the hood from a 1937 Ford passenger car, should one remove the hood from the hinges or remove the hood/hinge combo from the body? What method would make it easier to re install and allow for correct alignment? Thanks. . . . 78-730B

Probably best to leave hinges in place, if the hood is presently in good alignment, take the 2 bolts on each side out of the arms; that way it will be aligned when reinstalled
