Hello, A fello V8er and I have what looks like coupe rear fenders ( not sedan) but they don't fit correctly . Are there different dimensions for them? Thanks for any info.. Are woody fenders different than coupe or sedans ??

Woodie rear fenders are unique to that model, and were only shared by some panel trucks and the Sportsman convertibles from prewar wagons My body parts book doesn't go back to 1936, so there is no description. If yours are flat and narrower than regular fenders, they could be woodie type. Some of these parts survive, as they ended up in a dealer's stock and were forgotten when the business closed.

  1936 FORD woody fenders
that is Model 68-790
In my FORD PARTS book it says, 1935 1936 1937 station wagon rear fenders only fit wagons
here are the part numbers
48-16306 RH
48-16307 LH
only fits Station wagons, 35 36 37
Photos would help, so members could chime in,
hope this helps 37Ragopman
a few photos would help to find out what you have, can you post them,

Thank you for your reply, and that is exactly what appears to be the situation. Do you have any idea where I could go to get the correct measurements ?? Thanks, Dale T.
