The wheel base is the same on all the passenger cars. The convertible has some special cast brackets that mount on the outside of the frame in the area at the front of the cowl. They are used to adjust the cowl and doors to the rest of the body. I would contact the Benson Ford research Center in Dearborn, Michigan for information on the convertible frame. The frame does have some extra holes for brackets and and some additional welding done at key points to lessen the amount of twisting.
