Topic: No Spark?

Hey guys.., I've been out of town for the past four months. Now my 1937 Ford V8-85 doesn't have any spark. it started & ran fine this past April, but has been sitting for the past four months.

Any troubleshooting suggestions? Figured I'd start with the condenser.

Thanks in advance!

Why not start with checking to see if the coil is getting the correct voltage?

  HI
I would start with the ignition switch and see if you have currant there first,
you might have to flip the switch a few time, because of dirty contacts in the switch,?
if you have currant there, check your resister and the terminals, to see if currant is going to the coil,
start at the source,
you could also check the starter solenoid terminals , were the currant starts, see if dirty, or corroded,
use a good test light or meter,
I think the LIGHT is the easiest to use to start,
hope this helps 1937 Ragtopman
