How does the pull-down ash tray frame mount to the dash? When I put ash tray frame in factory dash opening there is nothing for the two mounting screws to secure to.

The screws on each side go into a "clip" that holds the ash tray and the tab end goes into the slot in the edge of the dash opening. The image shows the mounting in the "waterfall" only and not the dash. Hope this helps.

At last! Thank you for responding, wish I had those tabs. Maybe I can come up with something for a substitute.

The mounting tabs for the in dash factory stock ash tray are small L shaped affairs. They are about 3/8" wide and a 1/2" long. I probably have a pair I could dig out and take a pix of if needed. Bill 36 5 win delx cpe
