I could use some help installing a floorboard seal kit from drake for my 48 coupe, they offered no help

Well, I taped the seal to the pan with masking tape, mounted the pan and installed the screws, or I guess one could glue the seal to the floor or floor pan and install.

Well, I cheated! I cut 1" strips of double sided tape to the gasket and stuck it on the floorpan about every 6". It held it in place nicely to allow me to catch the screws.

You can also glue it on with weatherstrip cement.

I guess I really cheated. I bought a roll of 3/8" X 1" sticky one side, black foam weather stripping from the local lumber yard, for my '46 Coupe. Worked good for me. I noted when I took the floorpan off a few months later do some work on the transmission, the imprint showed a good seal all around.
