Hello I am a new member and looking for some help in the Puget Sound area, I am building a 1928 Ford closed cab pickup. I have a plan to build an 1949-1953 8BA Flathead. I have a block cleaned and magnifluxed as a good user block with no serious cracks or cracks in vital locations. I am looking for a machinist that could help me get this to a runner. I have purchased adjustable lifters and new valves so far. I live in the Martha Lake/Lynnwood area and willing to travel a little bit, but would like to learn along with the machine work and reassembly process. I don't want to just hand off and then pickup when done. If you have anyone willing to help me out please get me in touch with them. Thank you very much.

Contact the folks at the Puget Sound RG #18 for a local shop to do the engine work you want. This group is listed in the "Regional Club Directory" of this website.
