Topic: Vin Decoding

I am finally getting around to an old project and have always thought it was a 47. This pic is my frame vin number and it's confusing to me.
Would you guess this is a 41, or 42, or is it a 47? I pulled this out of a farmers field and am going to resto-mod but need to get a title.
My motor and trans will be from a 50 model F1 - 226ci
The wheel base is 114" as well.

Someone may correct me, but I believe that serial number indicates a commercial 6-cylinder from 1946.

Your vehicle ID is the IGC 30925I
I checked Mac Van Pelts serial numbers and according to how it is explained there
IG started in 1941 and ran up through 1946 as a 6 cyl vehicle (90 hp)
The C stands for commercial.
and the 30925I is the production run in the year 1946

(note that I was used for the number 1)

Hope this helps. Check out Van Pelts information at
http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/flathead_serialnumbers.htm

Good luck.
