Is there a safe way to jump start my stock 6 volt ‘50 Ford car with a 12 volt battery in a another car? (Without blowing out bulbs, instruments, starter, coil, etc?)

Just be quick about disconnecting after it starts. Ive done this dozens of times. ken ct

As Ken said, but with your personal supervision as to getting the polarity right.

Put the tranny in neutral and turn the ignition switch to On. Do not engage the starter motor with the starter button. Apply the 12 volts directly to the starter motor and ground to energize the motor. Residual voltage in the 6 volt battery should be enough to energize the ignition circuit as it is not being used by the starter motor in this scenario....
