I was just wondering if I could put a 9"in. clutch and pressure plate in my 60h.p. Ford standard, or do I have to stay with a 8.5in that came with it. Just wondering what's possible. thank you

If your 1938 Ford Standard is a passenger car you will have to use the 8.5" clutch disc of the type you are replacing.
That clutch disc fits within the hollowed out area of the 60 HP pass. car flywheel. If you are willing to locate the flat type of V8-60 flywheel that was used on 1940 Ford passenger cars and all V8-60 powered trucks, you will be able to use the 9" clutch disc that those applications employed.
