Has anyone found a substitute sun visor that will work on a 1948 convertible?? The 35-48 closed car look like they may be modified to fit.

C&G shows convertible visor brackets as 11A 76041-K $600 (!) Carpenter does't show convertible visors, but does have tan visor for 41-48 pickups which may work. $60 / pair C&G is 800/266-0470, Carpenter 800/476-9653. Finding most convertible parts is very difficult as they were limited production models. The bodies were not made by Ford, but by outside vendors, This certainly makes seeking body parts tough. I spent years assembling my '47 and found what I needed from coast to coast by phone, mail, and online. Good luck!
