Topic: radiator hose sealer / sealant

  anyone have experience with a sealant other than INDIAN HEAD SHELLAC for radiator hoses. i'd rather use something that doesn't harden.

  You dont have to enter your topic and question in more than one Discussion.

  Only the web hosting company or the web administrator can do that.

Once you sign in, you can delete or change the words (edit), but you can not delete the Topic.

  Regarding your question on radiator hose sealant....I stopped using the sealants you mention, or actually any sealant at all on radiator hoses or the inlet/outlet tubes on the radiator hose connections years ago. If the tubes are in good condition and clean, good quality hoses used that fit on the tubes correctly, and with good quality clamps....you shouldn't need any sealant, IMHO.
