Does anyone have a telephone number or a correct current email address for Scott Digesualdo in Colorado? The 303 phone number listed in our Roster has been disconnected, and I'm thinking that the email address listed there may also be out of date. Happy Belated New Year to one and all on this Forum. If you have a computer, or access to one, enter the name and general location in Google. If it doesn't show up, it is likely he is off the grid. Here in the midwest, the phone companies have ceased publication of the common phone directories, so we have to look up numbers locally or long distance. It is easier and quicker than turning pages, in any case.

Thank you Supereal. As always I do very much appreciate your input. It turns out that Scott, who is a member of Regional Group 28 in the Denver area, uses only a cell phone now. Contact has been made, and the part he needs for his '49 Merc will be on its way to Colorado shortly.

It is true that dropping a land line is becoming more popular, particularly with the escalating number of "robo calls" At our busy shop, we were besieged by these interruptions, so we went to a "VOIP" provider. When a call is received, the system tells the caller that a certain number must also be dialed. As robots can't dial, that eliminates most of the annoyances. A word of caution: before you drop your land line, be sure the successor is able to process emergency "911" calls. Out here in the Midwest. many local exchanges are unable to do that vital service.
