  Hey,
I'm interested in putting hydraulic brakes on a 1934 Ford 5-window coupe, and was wondering if anyone has experience with the conversion kits offered by the Early V8 Garage. I'm compelled to pursue hydraulic brakes now that both the boys have a driver's license - and the ability to undo the deed is very appealing. Does anyone have advice on the effectiveness/reliability of these kits? Or would a different path be recommended?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, they do make "floaters" that make the mechanical brakes work better. If you decide to go to the hydraulic brakes the Early V-8 Garage does have a nice set-up. Richard Lacy is a long time member of the V-8 Club and stands behind his products. He also has good technical advice when you encounter a problem.
