Can anyone tell me what color red paint was used in the 46 Ford grill. E mail me if you would.

The shade of red used in the grille of a 1946 Ford has been described as a representation of that color in the Stars & Stripes, which in turn is a celebration of American Servicemen and Women. Having fully participated in the production of war materials used to defeat the Axis, Ford had the additional honor of being the first into production of automobiles for the hard earned peace.

I used red 1/4" pin striping tape. It's been on for about 20 years now and still looks good as new. You cannot tell the difference.
