Greetings to all, I have a 1934 Ford, and I am planning to swap the original engine to a 1939 24-Stud Engine, I was wondering if anyone has seen this accomplished, and what if any specific changes need to be made to the engine to make this work...My goal is to not modify the my 1934 body, or chassis in ant way. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance!! Carl

I know that you will have to block up the front motor mounts. I've see a couple '34 trucks with the later v8's in them and they had to block up the motor mount. You may have to shorten the fan or something too? Hope this helps. Red

You should try posting your question on HAMB, http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/ Those guys do a lot more with installing late model (everything is relative) engines.
