I live in northern lower Michigan and i am trying to find a reputable machine shop to rebuild my 41 flathead v8. any suggestions?

When I lived near Detroit about 16 years ago I had a '40 Ford Flathead V-8 rebuilt by John Price at the NAPA Auto Parts Store (B & F Auto Supply) in Plymouth, MI, Phone (734) 453-7200. Don't know if John is still working there and rebuilding Flatheads. With these old engines, be sure to use the original oil pumps - do not use the later high volume pumps or you will have massive oil leaks past the rear main bearing!
