Has anyone replaced the front seat with one from another car or truck? My seat is basically collapsed on the drivers side and am looking for a reasonable replace or repair .

I guess the most important question is how is the upholstery in the car and are you going to re-upholster the new seat or the rest of the car to match. If you don't care if the seat matches, then find a seat that is close in size to the original seat and modify the tracks and floorboard to work on your car. Usually the springs can be retied and foam installed over the springs by an upholstery shop. If the cover is in good shape, it can be reused. If the springs have lost all of their tension, there are replacements available. Upholstery kits are available for your car if you intend to do the whole car. Tom
